Getting out of the Bear Market
The broad market has broken the first of 2 bear market trend channels. This means that we are starting a new uptrend or we’re in the middle of a large-degree bear market bounce. We should see a bounce into the Fall, regardless of what is playing out.
Technical Trends out of June’s Low Point
Small Caps, Cyclicals, and High Growth continue to lead off the June low. We are also seeing Junk Bonds catch a bid as well as long-dated bonds. These are risk-on assets, which tend to lead to going into a drawdown as well as coming out of one.
Both Yields and the Dollar are also in the process of supporting a rally in equities.

The FAANGs are a mixed bag; however, there is still strength in a handful of choice names, which we expect to resume leadership roles, while new FAANGs pick up the slack. Get the technicals on FAANG stocks and three other premium stock positions when you sign up for Premium.
