Primarily, it was strength in retail ads that led to Alphabet reporting healthy growth of 23%. Meanwhile, Meta Platforms (Facebook) reported revenue growth of 9.7% and is guiding for roughly 0% growth from $28.5 billion in Q2 2021 to $29 billion.
